We have started our second expedition about insects and we kicked off by listening to three guess experts; Sara from the Oregon Zoo, Kristie from The Bug Chicks, and Aaron from Jackson Bottom Wetlands. All these experts brought specimens to observe, touch, and smell! We we're so respectful, responsible, and kind! It was an amazing week!

Although, we started the week off with this beautiful snow the kids were so fun! We did a bunch of low-key Seuss activities all around the school. A parent of mines helped out a lot with different sensory bins, a rhyming egg hunt, and some fun Seuss snacks. Here are some photos from the week. Ending the week with buddies!
Ms. Kylee planned our first PE fieldwork to Villasport in Beaverton. This was so much fun and the kiddos were able to see "PE" in a new light and environment. My favorite part was watching them take a "dancing" class with an instructor and they couldn't stop looking in the mirrors! It was amazing to see them laughing, smiling, and trying to follow the "waving" and "blowing out the candles". Enjoy these moments!
Today, we accomplished the Gumdrop Tree Challenge, the Candy Cane Bridge, Quiet a Jingle Bell, and built plastic cup tree. Ms. Stefanie gathered all supplies for crews to collaborate and learn.
Aloha Crew, Miss Kylee did such a great job with her first lesson. She read-aloud "Snowflake Bentley" to the kiddos and challenged them to use their math thinking with folding paper in halves. A lot of perseverance and concentration during this lesson
