In the summer, EL Education published a new curriculum to be used at different grade levels. I have taken on the challenge to learn and teach this curriculum. It takes a lot of patience and perseverance, but I think we are off to a great start. There are a lot of pieces that need to be prepped and ready for the day, but the creations, knowledge, and overall growth that I have seen has been amazing. I can't wait for the rest of the year! Here is what out week looked like: Thank you for keeping up with our First Grade Flock

Phew! As I sit here (exhausted) I am so thankful for the wonderful crew we have this year. The first day of school went by quickly and how lucky the kids were to have Art and PE on the same day on the first day of school. I don't know about you guys, but I was pooped by the end of the day. Here are the photos I was able to capture of our first day...I tried my best! This past school year with my second First Grade Crew, we had our overnight to Camp Collins. I am hoping to do it again with this year's crew. We definitely had a lot of fun and effectively used our character traits in all obstacles. Here are a few pictures from last year:
First Day of SchoolWelcome to our First Grade Flock at City View Charter School. My name is Miss Tasha and this is a new class website which I will only sharing with family. I will try my best to update this website with class photos, new information, as well as overviews to what we are learning and exploring. I invite to explore our website and what I have experienced the past two years of teaching. Thank you for being part of this crew.
